Imam Khomeini Port facilities with an area of 12 hectares and a 300-square meter dock is capable of anchoring a ship with a capacity of 45000 tons. The materials ware houses consist of 3 silos 11000 tons and a coke storage with an area of 9600 square meters and an open ware house of 7 hectares.
The discharging of ships is carried out by Ship unloader machine and a grappler, which allows the transfer of raw materials from the ship to the hopper and the conveyor belts from the dock to the facility.
All raw materials purchased by the company, such as alumina powder, anode, petroleum coke, etc … are shipped to Iralco after unloading by wagon and truck.
